Jonsie, Your Input is WRONG and RUDE


Honestly, you have not shown stability in any one job. Who wants to hire someone who may last several months? The longest job you held was for 3 years. As an employer we want to see someone who is reliable and has plans to stay committed to a job.

11-09 to 01-10: Sales Support, Macys/Bloomingdales, Bend, OR. Duties: merchandising, inventory control, rack maintenance, customer service, loss prevention, other duties as assigned.-- this was a temporary seasonal position from the get go.

06-06 to 06-09: Various Positions, Express Personnel Services, Bend, OR. Duties: data entry, use of Quick Books, typing, filing, human resources, telephone customer service, funds disbursement and control, other duties as assigned.--3 years, and this was jobs THROUGH a staffing service aka temporary from the beginning!

06-05 to 10-05: Payroll Specialist, PrimePay, Beaverton, OR:  Duties: extensive payroll processing, telephone customer service, research, data entry, shipment tracking, filing, extensive faxing, other duties as required.--4 months, moved to Bend to take care of my elderly father who has since died

06-04 to 06-05: CFO, Associated Contractors Inc., Lake OswegoOR. Duties: accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, appointment scheduling, extensive faxing, tax document preparation, meetings with outside accounting/auditing/tax personnel, preparation of bankruptcy filing, vendor contact, research, payroll, financial statements, reconciliation, cash management, data entry, extensive use of QuickBooks, use of Quicken, other duties as required.--1 year and the owner declared bankruptcy/closed the business. Is THAT my fault?

01/01 to 01-09: Self-employed, online advertising business, Beaverton, OR and Bend, OR. Duties:  advertising sales, budgeting, data entry, extensive emailing, website maintenance, website creation, research, customer contact, interpersonal communication, other duties as required.--EIGHT YEARS, I closed the business down due to the economy

01/01 to 08/01:  Administrative Assistant, Talent Tree Staffing ServicesPortlandOR. Duties: 6-line switchboard with 300 extensions, scheduling conference calls, scheduling meetings, customer contact, employee assistance, data entry, photocopying, extensive faxing, limited purchasing responsibilities, extensive filing, tracking expedited parts requests, file maintenance, sorting incoming mail and faxes to proper recipients, researching purchasing issues, preparing and disbursing outgoing mail, preparing documentation packages, other duties as assigned.--7 months, job was for a high tech manufacturing company through a TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT AGENCY

11/99 to 01/01:  Data Conversion Operator, United States Postal Service, PortlandOR.  Duties: extensive data entry to route mail images to their correct destinations.-14 months position ended due to the USPS moving the jobs to Glendale Arizona and Salt Lake City Utah.

08/99 to 12/99:  Monetary Loan Processor, Initial Staffing Services (aka Talent Tree Staffing Services), Portland, OR. Duties: loan disbursement, telephone contact with customers, other lenders, and internal loan officers, ticket preparation, other duties as assigned. 4 months, job was with a bank holding company--again through a TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT AGENCY

12/98 to 08/99:  Monetary Rep II, Bank Plus Credit Services,BeavertonOR.  Duties: Payment preparation/batching, extensive photocopying, loss prevention, fraud investigation, extensive filing, research, processing returned items, training, external phone contact with other financial institutions,  preparing correspondence, incoming mail disbursement, other duties as assigned.  I was part of a research team which prevented $250,000.00 in potential losses.--company was bleeding money (in the millions in terms of losses) and was sold off less than a month after I left.  Would Jonsie stay on a sinking ship?

08/98 to 11/98:  Accounting Specialist, Initial Staffing Services (aka Talent Tree Staffing Services), PortlandOR.  Duties:  Loan payoff, encoding, file maintenance, phone contact, incoming mail disbursement, other duties as assigned. 3 months, job was with a bank holding company--again through a TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT AGENCY

07/97 to 05/98:  Accounting Specialist, Initial Staffing Services (aka Talent Tree Staffing Services), PortlandOR.  Duties:  overpayment disbursement, cashier check control desk, research, mail distribution, training, crediting customer accounts, encoding, other duties as assigned. 10 months, job was with a bank holding company--again through a TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT AGENCY

11/94 to 07/97:  Telephone Support Clerk/Customer Service/Data Entry Operator, Wells Fargo & Company,BeavertonOR.  Duties: Telephone customer service (inbound call center), customer service, branch contact, assisting other financial institutions, extensive research, mail preparation and disbursement, data entry, online entry  to general ledger, file maintenance, training, resource person, lead clerk, other duties as assigned.--2 YEARS AND EIGHT MONTHS!!

01/94 to 11/94:  General Clerk, Talent Tree Staffing Services,PortlandOR.  Duties: Data entry, 10-key, work preparation, use of CICS system, other duties as assigned. 10 months, job was with a bank holding company--again through a TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT AGENCY

06/94 to 11/94:  Accounting Clerk, Adams Temporary Services,PortlandOR.  Duties:  Data entry, bank deposits, balancing and reconciling transactions, driving, invoice preparation and sorting, accounts payable preparation and authorization, transmittal of information to corporate offices, other duties as assigned. 5 months, jobs were with several companies--again through a TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT AGENCY

05/89 to 12/93:  General Clerk II/III, First Interstate Bank (aka Wells Fargo & Company), PortlandOR.  Duties:  data entry, extensive phone contact with branches, phone coverage, typing, filing , authorized signer, 10-key, use of auto-sig system, responsibility for processing on-us by-us items for 2 states, large item desk, processing referred and returned items, operating 3890 sorters, training, operating Mailstar and MatchMaker statement sorting machines, use of CICS system, use of WordPerfect and EARNS in a PC environment, resource person, rotator, lead clerk, other duties as assigned.  I was a rotator/lead clerk for 2 years; this experience includes a working knowledge of general ledger and office procedures. FOUR YEARS and SEVEN MONTHS!!

Honestly, YOU (Jonsie) have not shown anything that would make you a good EMPLOYER.

You chose to insult someone without even reading the entire resume.

You chose to ignore the fact that many of the positions were through staffing services aka temporary agencies (most positions through a temporary agency are on 'need' basis and are ended by the employers).

As a potential employee I would like to see an employer who chooses to actually READ before running their mouth or hitting their keyboard!!

8 years of self employment and close to 7 1/2 years with one employer (Wells Fargo/First Interstate) is certainly more than the THREE years Jonsie throws out so disparagingly isn't it now?
